Grant Community Center
105 S Front St. Grant, Michigan 49327

$130,000 Grant received to renovate the Community Center

The Fremont Area Community Foundation looked favorably on our $35,000 grant request to replace the leaky roof and enclose the front of the building near the restrooms. Then they kicked in an additional $95,000 to help us renovate the outdated kitchen, upgrade the heating/cooling system, and install a needed handicap-accessible ramp.  The renovations are complete, and we could not be more thrilled to have restored this historic community treasure for generations to enjoy!

Rental Information
Interested in renting the Grant Community Center?  You can obtain rental forms three different ways.  Online here, at the Community Center in the foyer, or at the City Offices.  We have added links to all of our rental forms and procedures for your convenience.  Please print out, fill out, and submit ALL documents for your rental.  If you are interested in having any alcohol during your rental, print all forms below in dark red.  If you are interested in a more affordable rental that will have absolutely NO ALCOHOL, print and fill out all rental documents listed in dark blue.  Rental documents must be delivered in person so that City officials can go over them face-to-face, and all paperwork must be completed and submitted at least one full week before your rental.  Rentals with alcohol also require an additional certificate of insurance, and it it not at all uncommon for the process to take over a month to obtain the necessary documents, so plan ahead and start the process early!  Please call Lori in the City Office to check on building availability.
