Polls are open for the August 4, 2026 election between 7:00am and 8:00pm. A sample ballot can be viewed online at https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/PublicBallot/Index
Voters who plan to cast an absentee ballot must be on the Permanent Ballot List or submit a absentee ballot application. The last day to register in any manner, other than in-person with the city clerk, is Monday, July 20, 2026. In-person only registration with the city clerk is July 21, 2026 through election day, providing proof of residency.
In-person early voting is available at the Newaygo County Administraion building, 1087 Newell St., White Cloud between Saturday, July 25, 2026 and Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 7:00am to 3:00pm.
Saturday Office Hours: City of Grant office will also be open on Saturday, August 1, 2026 between 8:00am and 4:00pm for voters who want to vote an absentee ballot.
