Polls are open for the May 5, 2026 election between 7:00am and 8:00pm. A sample ballot can be viewed online at https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/PublicBallot/Index
Voters who plan to cast an absentee ballot must be on the Permanent Ballot List or submit a absentee ballot application. The last day to register in any manner, other than in-person with the city clerk, is Monday, April 20, 2026. In-person only registration with the city clerk is April 21, 2026 through election day, providing proof of residency.
