Living in the City of Grant

Water Tower View

The City of Grant is an ideal place to live. The cornerstones of the City's residential attractiveness are the highly-regarded Grant Public School System and the newer Grant Area District Library The Grant community has made many investments to help Grant become a great place to live and raise a family. Public infrastructure improvements are constantly taking place, including the 790-seat Fine Arts Center at Grant High School, the district library, the newly renovated Ryan Benson Skate Park, and ongoing street and sidewalk improvements. More improvements are coming, so check back often for updates.

Additionally, private sector investments, including a newer apartment community located within walking distance to the schools, library, our wonderful parks, and downtown, a number of single family homes, and the 22,000 square foot Family Health Care Facility The City is also home to a number of locally-owned entertainment, retail, and service businesses that meet much of our community needs. The City of Grant is a 2009 Bronze Award recipient in Promoting Active Communities sponsored by the Michigan Fitness Foundation and the Governor's Council on Physical Fitness, Health & Sports.
