Annual City of Grant Clean-Up Day
The City has organized a City clean-up day for May 17, 2008 to help get our great City ready for the warm season and increased tourism traffic.  A grant request has been approved by the Fremont Area Community Foundation to help defray the costs of three dumpsters, and we are very appreciative that they approved our request.  Please stop by either the Grant Community Center (behind the Depot Restaurant) or Parkview Cemetery (across from Grant High School) to volunteer during this event.  High School students needing community service hours have an opportunity to get four hours for this clean-up day, so please bring your forms with you on Saturday!

5th Annual Grant Frontier Festival
The Grant Area Chamber of Commerce Board and volunteers have already begun planning for this popular end of summer event scheduled for Friday, August 22nd and Saturday, August 23rd, 2008.  Once the Chamber finalizes Festival events, more information will be available.  Please check back the end of May!

2008 City-Wide Yard Sales
This year's event is scheduled for Saturday, September 6th.  The sales typically bring hundreds of people into our community to walk our beautiful neighborhoods!  Rite-Aid has historically allowed individuals to set up tables and booths throughout their vacant property along M-37 and west State Road.  Please call Rite-Aid at 834-5744 to obtain permission if interested.  Many people also set up tables along Front Street outside of the CSX Railroad right-of-way.
